Dan Cohen
Founder and CPO

Dan is a seasoned product management expert with 25 years in digital platforms, VC, product management, and corporate venturing.

As Founder and CPO of Human Scale, he leads the company's product strategy.

Previously, Dan was VP of Product Management at bp, where he directed a team of product managers, engineers, and designers to develop digital products that support bp’s net-zero goals and customer-focused strategy.Before bp, Dan served as Chief Product Officer at Autovia, a media and eCommerce startup, overseeing the entire product lifecycle and delivering successful products that boosted engagement and revenue. Dan has also mentored early-stage startups through the Royal Academy of Engineering, sharing his expertise with aspiring entrepreneurs to help shape their product vision and roadmap. Passionate about digital innovation and sustainability, Dan aims to contribute to a better future for society and the planet.

Matthew Sinclair
Founder and CTO

Matthew has been a tech builder since the mid-90s, now with nearly three decades of experience.

As Founder and CTO of Human Scale, Matthew looks after the technology side of the business, focussing on strategy and implementation.

For the past couple of years, Matthew served as Partner and VP of Engineering at BCG X in London. Prior to that, he led the Engineering team at BCG Digital Ventures for seven years, working with top-tier digital platform experts to launch upwards of 25 or so new businesses and products/services. Before joining BCG, he focused on high-performance, mission-critical computing in Australia, engaging in research, startups, and CTO roles.

Matthew was a non-fellow member of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Committee (2020-2023) and am now a committee member of the Academy's Shott Scale Up Accelerator Program.
